ABOUT EPSILON FLEET
Stories can outlast the places where they began.
Epsilon Fleet is an independent collaborative writing community, bringing long-lived characters and new voices together in a shared corner of the Star Trek universe.
INDEPENDENT BY DESIGN
A fleet built around people and their stories.
Epsilon Fleet connects two active settings: the crew of the USS Arawyn and the people guiding fleet operations from Starbase 369. We write character-driven fiction together, giving large missions and quiet personal moments equal room to matter.
Our stories move at a thoughtful pace. Continuity is shared, ideas are built collaboratively, and characters are allowed to change because of what they experience.

Character first
Missions give us direction. The choices, relationships, and consequences give those missions meaning.
Shared ownership
No single writer creates the whole story. We make space for one another’s ideas and characters.
Continuity with room to grow
History matters here, but it supports new stories instead of closing the door on them.
OUR ROOTS
The places change. The stories continue.
Epsilon Fleet stands on its own. It is not a revival of UCIP, but several of the characters at the heart of this fleet—and the writers behind them—first found one another through that long-running online simming community.
When the communities around them changed, the relationships and stories did not simply disappear. Writers stayed in touch. Characters carried their histories forward. Epsilon Fleet grew from that choice to keep creating together while building something independent for the future.
ONE STORY ACROSS THE YEARS
From ensign to fleet commander.
Sidra MacLaren is one example of what long-form collaborative storytelling can become. Created in 2000, she began as an ensign serving in security aboard the USS Archer. Over years of shared writing she rose through the ship’s command structure, eventually becoming its captain and, much later, commander of Epsilon Fleet.
Her history is not the history of Epsilon Fleet itself. It reflects something central to the community: characters are given time to grow, relationships have consequences, and stories do not have to disappear when the places that first hosted them change.

WHAT WE ARE BUILDING NOW
A living universe, with room for the next voice.
Today, our shared setting stretches from the bridge of the Arawyn to the command offices of Starbase 369. The history gives us depth; new writers and new characters determine where the story goes next.
The story is bigger than one page.
The Epsilon Fleet Wiki preserves our characters, ships, locations, missions, and the history behind our shared setting.
